Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using BursaEdge ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Service

BursaEdge is a market information and decision-support platform providing analytical tools for Bursa Malaysia securities. It is operated by Edge Digital, a sole proprietorship registered under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). The platform is provided for educational and informational purposes only — see our Disclaimer for the full scope of limitations.

3. Accounts

• Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@bursaedge.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual may be terminated without refund.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each annual period unless cancelled.
• Founders Lifetime subscriptions are a one-time purchase — see the Founders Lifetime Terms for specific conditions.
• We may change pricing for new subscribers. Existing subscribers at a given tier are grandfathered at their current rate for the duration of their active subscription.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds are issued except as required by Malaysian consumer protection law.

5. Permitted Use

BursaEdge is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• Access the platform for your own research and analysis.
• Export data or outputs for personal use.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Automate access to scrape, extract, or bulk-download platform data.
• Share your account credentials or access with any other person.
• Commercially redistribute, resell, or republish any platform content or data.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measure on the platform.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable Malaysian law.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, code, and analytical methodologies are the exclusive property of Edge Digital or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a licence to our intellectual property beyond what is strictly necessary to use the service.

8. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
• Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that platform data, analytical outputs, or alerts are accurate, complete, or current.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Edge Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including any trading losses made in reliance on platform data or outputs. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
