Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using BursaEdge ("the platform"), you agree to these service Terms and our Privacy Policy. A purchase-specific policy version applies only when you expressly accept it during checkout. Continued use alone does not accept a new purchase or refund policy. If you do not agree to these service Terms, do not use the platform.

2. The Service

BursaEdge is a market information and decision-support platform providing analytical tools for Bursa Malaysia securities, operated by Muhamad Somad Albasit Bin Muhibin. Edge Digital Enterprise is identified as the seller for purchases under this candidate policy; see the seller contact details in the footer. The platform is provided for educational and informational purposes only — see our Disclaimer for the factual scope and limitations.

3. Accounts

• Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@bursaedge.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per person. Do not share or transfer an account.

4. Access, Subscriptions and Payments

• BursaEdge may provide Free access while paid checkout is staged or unavailable.
• When paid subscriptions are available, monthly and annual plans are paid upfront for the chosen subscription period.
• Neither plan renews automatically, and we do not charge you automatically. Each monthly and annual renewal is customer-initiated: you must make a new payment at the then-current published price for your chosen plan.
• A purchase under policy version be-2026-10-21 is governed by that purchase-specific version only if you expressly accept it at checkout. The order summary shows the selected period and full amount before you submit payment; see the Refund Policy. No voluntary change-of-mind refund is offered under that version; applicable legal remedies, billing corrections and other contractual promises remain.
• Lifetime plans, public seat counters, launch-price cohorts, and permanent price grandfathering are not offered.
• Choosing not to make another purchase leaves the current paid period available until its stated expiry. Cancellation or termination does not automatically remove a refund or other remedy that is owed under applicable law or the terms accepted for that purchase.

5. Permitted Use

BursaEdge is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• Access the platform for your own research and analysis.
• Export data or outputs for personal use where an export feature is available on your plan.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Automate access to scrape, extract, or bulk-download platform data except through an expressly authorised BursaEdge API or integration.
• Share your account credentials or access with any other person.
• Commercially redistribute, resell, or republish any platform content or data without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security or entitlement measure on the platform.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable Malaysian law.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, code, and analytical methodologies are the exclusive property of the platform operator or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a licence to our intellectual property beyond what is strictly necessary to use the service.

8. Cancellation and Termination

• You may stop a future purchase by not initiating another payment. Where a cancellation control is provided, it applies to future billing; it does not remove access already paid for before its expiry.
• We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach or to address an urgent security or legal risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond or remedy the breach.
• Suspension or termination does not automatically forfeit a refund, billing correction or other remedy that remains due. Data-retention obligations are handled under our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Market data, analytical outputs, screening results and alerts may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect, and the service may be unavailable at times. These limitations describe the service; they do not exclude any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian law.

10. Limitation of Liability

Subject to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, the candidate retains the existing proposed limit that total aggregate liability will not exceed subscription fees paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, where applicable. This limit does not apply where Malaysian law prohibits its application. Its suitability remains pending separate legal review; no replacement numerical cap is introduced here.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Malaysian law. Nothing in this section excludes access to a tribunal, regulator, payment-dispute process or other remedy available under applicable law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. A change to purchase or refund terms applies only to a future purchase after you expressly accept the applicable version; continued use alone is not acceptance. Changes do not retrospectively reduce an accrued claim or an existing paid period.
